Conversations That Matter

In 2011-2012, nearly 800 members of Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod congregations gathered to talk about Doing What Matters. Since then some congregations have begun exciting new initiatives and others have moved into deeper conversations about what God is doing. Now you can be part of the next round of gatherings, Conversations That Matter, gatherings to listen, share, and learn how God is at work around you.

September 21, 2013, Mary's Song and Ours: Why and How Music Matters in Worship

A continuing education worship event led by Jennifer Baker-Trinity. The Lutheran Center, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch included. Cost: $20 if registered by September 6; $25 after September 6.

This workshop considers why music in worship matters and how it is intrinsic to the pattern of worship. It explores practical matters of planning, leading and experiencing music in the worshipping assembly.
