Are you hearing God's call?
Are you interested in discovering ways to use your gifts to serve God? Do you want to explore ways to witness to God's saving grace in your everyday life?
"Hearing God's Call" will offer you the opportunity to discuss these and other questions of Christian vocation with church leaders who serve in a variety of occupations.
This discerning retreat for adults will be held January 11-13, 2004, at Calumet Lutheran Camp and Conference Center in Ossipee, N.H.
Calumet offers winter recreation options that include skiing, snow shoeing, ice skating, and tubing on the toboggan run.
The goals of the retreat are to-
- Help you explore the meaning of the priesthood of all believers
- Encourage you and others like you to better discern the particular gifts God has given and to figure out how those gifts can be expressed in your everyday life
- Equip you to witness to God's saving grace in your everyday life
Among the people who will be providing leadership and guidance at the Hearing God's Call retreat are specialists in various occupations, such as pastor, doctor, financier, tradesperson, scientist, college administrator, and military person.
