    Monthly PrayersPrayers for Each Weekday of the Month
Monthly prayers for 2013 Monthly prayers for 2012 Each morning at 9:30 the staff of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod pauses briefly for prayer. Included in the prayers each day are specific rostered persons and congregations. Also included each week are one of the churchwide units of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and its director, the local judicatory of one of our full communion partners, and one of our global Lutheran partners. On the ninth of every month, we pray for peace in the Middle East. That day of the month is the date for Pennsylvania churches to participate in the ELCA-supported ecumenical prayer vigil for peace. The monthly prayer list is available as a PDF (Portable Document Format) file. See the instructions on viewing in the right-hand column.
